• You will support the development of effective giving activities at the local geographic and DTE levels, including advice on Giving as a platform for program development.
• You will advise on the shape and nature of Accenture humanitarian response and disaster giving (recipient, magnitude and rationale), shaping and disbursing Global donations as required, including maintaining awareness of external landscape, partnerships and approval processes to generate emergency giving.
• As appropriate, you will engage with Board members of Accenture Foundations, including those retaining global holdings (NL, Australia and Switzerland) to represent Accenture interests. You will assist in relevant policy definition and application regarding the interface/engagement between Accenture and the Accenture foundations and share knowledge about success factors and best practice in this area.
• You will lead a team responsible for the governance, diligence, management and reporting of the Giving portfolio. You will be responsible for the maintenance of good management information relating to Giving activities and grant portfolio, including for audit purposes, and from time to time will conduct benchmarking.
• The Giving Lead functions as a Subject Matter Expert for Accenture on matters relating to charitable giving, Accenture foundations and associated non-profit relationships, and the stakeholder value that can be derived from these.
• The Giving Lead also works with relevant corporate functions (e.g. Finance, Tax, Legal) to ensure effective due diligence, disbursement of grants, and effective grant-making operations as well as the implementation of new giving-related policies, capabilities and solutions as these evolve.
• You will have excellent project management skills that enable you to deliver multiple streams of work across multiple global and local teams.
• Critical to this role is the ability to think analytically, build relationships, and be able to communicate at an executive level.
