About Organisation

Suraksha is a non-profit working to educate and empower girls with disabilities with a focus on the hearing impaired. Suraksha provides speech therapy and vocational training to hearing impaired girls in schools and coordinates with local employers so the girls can be gainfully employed upon graduation.

The volunteers reach out to local villages and communities and convince the parents to send their daughters to schools. We also sponsor girls from disadvantaged families for higher education and mentor and support them in their path to self sufficiency.
