About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

National Foundation for India (NFI) is looking for a talented content producer cum social media manager to conceptualise, create and produce engaging content, manage our social media accounts and other tools of public engagements. You will be responsible for creating original text and audio / visual content, managing posts and engaging with connections/followers.
 
As a Content Producer cum Social Media Manager, NFI expects you to be up-to-date with the latest digital tools, technologies & platforms and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express NFI’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and public engagement.
 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Design and implement social media and content strategy to align with the goals of NFI.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to meet the set specific objectives and report on ROI.
  • Collaborate and work closely with various teams at NFI to identify and execute strategies and tools to tell compelling stories to enable social change.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor feedback from the audience.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) and ensure band equity.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent knowledge of digital ecosystem and proven work experience as a social media manager.
  • Hands on experience in content production and management with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) in time bound manner.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and familiarity with web design.
  • Ability to conceptualize, design and organise training with civil society organisations and leaders.
  • A broad understanding of the socio-political and economic issues and comfort in handling communication output related to it.
