About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

Oversee, plan, and manage the product development stages, approving the product at each stage. Create detailed project plans at each product development stage for maximum efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Overall in-charge of the project including program, monitoring and finance
  • Facilitate baseline survey to increase uptake of male FP and SRH services in the existing and proposed new intervention areas
  • Guide branches to conduct demand generation and sensitization programes in the community on SRH issues and NCDs. This will include targeted communication on the preventive and promotive aspects through mixed media as well as through digital media
  • Liaise with local government /private health care settings and identify healthcare providers and organise training in Non Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV).
  • Map various workplace interventions, provide technical assistance to branches to generate demand for Non Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) services
  • Guide branches to organise outreach based fixed day service sessions in the evening/sundays for SRH, including sessions dedicated to men and boys in collaboration with other NGOs, schools, colleges, community-based organizations
  • Provide technical assistance to develop a web-based/ mobile-app (virtual space) that will serve as a one-stop centre for accessing SRH information, products, services.
  • Train a special front line team of male link workers for behaviour change communication
  • Collaborate with the local health authorities and experts to organize specialized clinical skills training programme for eligible service providers to conduct No Scalpel Vasectomy
  • Track outputs through a robust monitoring framework. Develop a monitoring system (recording, reporting and supportive supervision) to track client flow and quality of services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in collaborating with community organizations and groups to deliver excellent health interventions
  • Experience in conducting capacity building /training staff, outreach and frontline workers on MCH,FP,HIV and other health issues
  • Excellent management, public speaking, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
  • Proficient in English, Hindi, and any other regional language of India
