About Job Profile

Development consulting

The Consultant will be an integral part of our Social Impact Advisory team, building positive relationships with clients and working closely with multiple teams in delivering solutions to enable high impact on the ground. They are required to solve problems using consulting frameworks and research for the projects.

This includes both quantitative and qualitative rigor which is done by analyzing given data and gaining insights through interviews with stakeholders. It will ensure gaining a broad knowledge base that cuts across sectors and geographies while driving the core of every project’s work.

Primary Responsibilities include

Lead multiple tracks in a large-scale project independently.

Produce client-ready deliverables - strategy decks, project reports, governance reports, etc.

Provide execution/ operational guidance and cover to associate/ analyst on the project - across research, framework development, and portfolio management.

Drive all client and stakeholder communication and ensure clarity and quality.

Identify and mitigate key project risks in consultation with the project lead.

Responsible for first-level project planning and governance to ensure work streams/ tracks are well managed.

Lead smaller delivery projects independently.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Problem-solving and advisory skills, especially related to building the capabilities of nonprofits.

Exceptional problem-solving and advisory skills, strong presentation and data analytical abilities.

Prior experience in a client or customer-facing role and diverse stakeholder management.

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Prior experience in leading small teams is an added advantage.

Display humility, willingness to listen, and excitement to learn.
