About Job Profile

Development consulting

The role will include proactive and reactive work, utilising key skills in partnership working, consultation and engagement, networking, project management and capacity building - supporting local organisations and residents to identify issues, needs and solutions to improve their community.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Day to day supervision of VDF in the intervention areas. 
  • Ensure desired targets and impact are achieved in a timely manner with desired  quality. 
  • Ensure additional income earned by households is adequate and sustainable.
  • Provide feedback to VDF as well as Field Director on progress of planned  interventions, additional income and impacts. 
  • Ensure quality records are maintained for all activities carried out and impacts  achieved. 
  • Ensure optimal utilization of funds and resources provided for the program
  • Build a supportive network of local leaders, key politicians operating in the  intervention areas, and influential individuals. 
  • Maintain rapport with Government departments, officials and financial institutions for  convergence purposes. 
  • Explore opportunities to collaborate with NABARD, District Industry Centre and similar  entities. 
  • Ensure adequate coverage about our programs in print and electronic media.
  • Carry out all activities communicated by Field Director from time to time. 
  • Any other work as and when assigned by the reporting manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Professional qualification MSW or Graduate/post graduate in related fields.
  • Language Proficient: Local Language (mandatory), Hindi, English (desired).
  • Residing in core area.
  • Computer Skills are preferred.
