About Job Profile

Communication/Information Management

Communications coordinators oversee the creation of promotional materials to build and develop a brand identity. They primarily work in an administrative role and provide support in areas such as marketing, advertising, and media relations. Communications coordinators create and expand on a brand's story.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Develop a communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Connect and liaison between the Director’s office and various stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Create creative content and develop social media posts, including blogs, press notes, videos.
  • Assist in coordinating events, conferences, meetings, workshops and ensure smooth execution.
  • Contribute towards the Foundation’s continuous improvement by assisting the Director in improving processes and policies.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Networking and relationship building.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Adaptability and collaboration.
  • Time management.
  • Use of communication software and tools for editing, creating video content etc.

Navjyoti India Foundation is a not-for-profit society, registered in 1988 by then 16 serving police officers of Delhi Police and conceived by Dr. Kiran Bedi, first Indian woman IPS, and her team of North district police, with the main objective of crime prevention through welfare policing, education of street children, vocational skills for women drug peddlers and de-addiction programs were its initiating projects.
