About Job Profile

Communication/Information Management

Communications officers write and distribute content to promote an organization's brand, activities, or products.

They act as a liaison between the organization, the public, and the media to ensure that the brand remains top of mind.

Primary Responsibilities include

The Communication Officer will communicate about the impact of work of Humana People to People India in various ways e.g., but not limited to what is mentioned below and produce:

• Informative articles, case-stories, and news for the Internet media – Website, Facebook, Twitter and
LinkedIn, YouTube and other. Working together with partners for creating and updating HPPI’s content on their website, Internet media and secure all HPPI related and relevant hyperlinks are working.
• Information material in form of pamphlets, posters, articles and case-stories for articles and many kinds of publications, annual report, other reports and newsletters, photo essays and short films • Reports and other material for online donation and boost the online donation and crowd funding to
HPPI.
• Make presentation for programs and project areas and specific projects to use for partnership as well as for other purpose.
• To prepare profile and information required for applications, due diligence and other material needed for partnership and information purpose.
• Proofreading and Editing documents
The communication officer is a member of the Partnership Team and should be able to produce high quality content and products. S/he will in the day-to-day work both on individual as well as collective tasks and be a good team player. He/she will work closely together with other communication persons and graphic designer in HPPI and with the entire partnership team. S/he will also work together with Project leaders and field teams to collect useful information and pictures to use producing material.
The communication officer work from the HPPI Head office and will from time-to-time visit projects to make interviews, take photos and get impressions from the projects and the impact of these.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Effective content producer skill for social media and Website

• Preferable experience from Development/non-profit sector as well as MassCom.

Remuneration:

Will be comme nsurate with experience and qualification. At par with the industry standards.
