Develop and implement communication strategies:

• Design and execute comprehensive communication plans to effectively reach target audiences and stakeholders.
• Identify key messaging and create compelling content to promote awareness and understanding of Maternal Health and Family Planning issues.
• Utilize various communication channels, including traditional media, social media, newsletters, and websites, to disseminate information and engage the public.

Content creation and management:

• Generate high-quality, engaging content such as articles, blog posts, press releases, and social media updates related to Maternal Health and Family Planning programs.
• Conduct research and gather information to develop accurate and evidence-based content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevancy.
• Maintain a content calendar and regularly update the websites, social media platforms and other relevant platforms with new content.

Documentation and knowledge management:

• Develop and maintain a systematic and efficient documentation system for Maternal Health and Family Planning programs, ensuring easy access to relevant information and resources.
• Collect, organize, and catalogue program-related data, reports, and success stories.
• Create visually appealing and informative materials, such as infographics, fact sheets, and presentations, to communicate program outcomes and impact.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of documentation efforts and make recommendations for improvement.

Stakeholder engagement and networking:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent messaging about Maternal Health and Family Planning initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to amplify the reach and impact of the National Programs.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events to promote Maternal Health and Family Planning programs and initiatives.
• Support the State in strengthening and expanding the Community-Based FP & MH activities in coordination with stakeholders like ANMs, ASHAs, ASHA Nodal Officers, and FP/MH Counsellors.
• Support the FP & MH Divisions of MoHFW-GoI and the States to organize and conduct National and Regional level Orientations, Sensitizations, Review Meetings, Training, On-site Coaching, and Workshops to ensure smooth program implementation.
• Develop and produce documents like situation analysis reports, assessment reports, success stories, gap analysis plans, procurement plans etc. to capture the results/lessons/experiences of the program and ensure that the program reports capture the outcomes of the programs being implemented.
• Support in designing and developing all Technical Materials/Learning resources on FP & MH programs.
• Support in the development and update of Guidelines, TORs, Templates, Formats, Presentations, and other related materials along with the Guidance Document related to FP & MH programs as per the program and GoI standard guidelines for internal program needs and for external dissemination.
• Frequent travel to States/Districts to monitor the programs and provide appropriate technical guidance for improvements.
• Any other support as and when required by MoHFW.

• Relevant work experience in programmatic and data support functions will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content for various audiences.
• Proficiency in content creation and management, including experience with social media platforms, CMS, and design software.
• Experience in implementing and managing Family Planning and Maternal Health Programs will be an added advantage.
