About Job Profile

Research and Field Work

Identify key drivers for the business that enables effective partnership leading to business growth; deliver results from a profitability/brand perspective. Identify, prospect and close complex partnership arrangements that deliver real value to the business.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Charter new partnership agreements with Universities and Colleges in and around Pune. Target to pilot with 30 Colleges and 5 Universities by Dec-2023.
  • Conduct recruitment drives for students in Colleges for Program Kalpana and Industrial visits.
  • Partner with National universities (IITs/IISERs, NITs) for recruiting girls for the Kalpana Program.
  • Initiate, foster relationships with Global Fortune 500 and National 100 companies with larger focus in Pune and Hyderabad and conduct weekly/fortnightly events and industrial visits.
  • Enrol students into Training programs of the Industries
  • Strong communication capacities – Emails, posters, and other materials to explain students on the benefits of Program Kalpana.
  • Increase the visibility of VigyanShaala by giving talks offline in Colleges
  • National and International forums and societies- visit conferences and give talks offline
  • Comfortable in Handling large number of stakeholders and comfortable in talking to stakeholders for long durations every day
  • Expected travel time is 30% in the beginning and may increase up to 40%. Most travel will be within Pune district to meet with the stakeholders. This requirement is non-negotiable for this role.
  • Can preferably start the role immediately at the earliest possible date
  • Preferably someone who understands and feels passionate about the cause
  • Until such a time where the product offerings do not stabilize, you will face times where you will have to take on tasks outside your JD, as each one of us does.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Master's Degree Required from a Tier-1 University (International Relations, Communication, Sales, Management, similar roles or a STEM background)
  • One-Two years of work experience required in a relevant position of Partnerships/ Sales/Fundraising.
  • Impeccable written and oral communication in English is Required.
  • Clarity of Thought Processes. Good at Making Clean Clutter-Free PPTs.
  • Start the role at the earliest.
  • Managing Partnership/Sales processes is beneficial.
  • Certifications in Communication, Story Telling, or other similar fields relevant to this position is beneficial.
