About Job Profile

Training and Teaching

Skill-Ed provides skills training on different Technological and Soft Skills for the economic empowerment of marginalised youth to build skills required for all entry-level positions, build confidence and entrepreneurship skills.

The youth are supported for job placements as well. The training is imparted in various locations in PAN India, particularly in Tamil Nadu. Qualified and experienced trainers provide training, and the training is free of cost for the Economically Weaker students.

The responsibilities of this role include mobilization of the students for the courses of the skill-ed program, scheduling the volunteer engagement sessions and career guidance awareness sessions, student enrolment data collection and updating the tool. 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Establish a network of institutes, organisations and individuals to enrol students for the offered courses.
  • Prepare mobilization plan and ensure timely execution in line with the operation of the Skill-ed program and ensure mobilization targets are met in the given timeline.
  • Regular studies on new initiatives for finding ways for Mass mobilization.
  • Collecting and maintaining the database of the students and frequent follow-up with students and colleges.
  • Share the Daily Activity Report
  • Ready for local travel within Tamil Nadu and other regions of India on a need basis.
  • Collaborate with other Bhumi teams as required to achieve the goals.
  • Regular planning, reporting, and maintaining MIS and documentation.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Ability to work in a team and in a multicultural environment
  • Diplomatic and good communication
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s in social work or master’s in social work are preferred.

  • Scope: Full-time Consultant
  • Salary: 3 LPA to 3.6 LPA (Based on the candidate’s profile)
  • Location: Tamil Nadu and open to travel to other regions as required.
  • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
