About Job Profile

Fundraising and Partnerships

Act as line manager to the fundraising staff of the Fundraising & Programs team. Act as a sounding board to the other members of the Fundraising & Programs team. When necessary, able to manage the project implementation of donor funded projects.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Develop and implement a Fundraising strategy that will ensure growth and sustainability of the organisation.
  • Tap into existing networks and build new networks to increase Arpan’s visibility amongst philanthropists, corporates, trusts and foundations (Indian + International); identify & develop new donors and maximize fundraising opportunities.
  • Identify and implement innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Raise INR 18-20 crore per year.
  • Manage all funder relationships independently and manage funder reporting.
  • Undertake research and be aware of trends in child protection and fundraising (Indian + International).
  • Contribute to sector-level initiatives to enhance fundraising for non-profits such as Arpan.
  • Build the team and their capacity.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Business development experience in the management consulting space/ industry will be valued    
  • Ability to work in a small team; good inter-personal skills; ability to handle high pressure situations
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful execution of organizational/ department strategy
  • Demonstrated skills of building and leading a team.
