About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The job involves identifying the appropriate resources in procurement of materials, overseeing production, and managing sales & marketing activities for the products. The selected candidate will serve as the vertical head and will report to the State Head, SSF, Gujarat."

Primary Responsibilities include

Manage, direct, and monitor the artisan centre.
Mobilize women and youth from the community and trained them to develop good quality products.
Liaison with local government to get access to schemes and programs for the artisan group.
Establish linkages with large local and overseas buyers.
Conduct regular capacity building and skill development training for the artisan group.
Identify potential areas to partner with different stakeholders for establishing linkages.
Analyse value chains and develop viable business plans for stakeholders to support their livelihoods.
Develop plans for the centre’s progress and growth.
Market and promote the artisan centre locally/nationally through appropriate exhibitions, projects, market stalls and advocacy activities.
Market the product through various e-commerce and social media platform and channel.
Work within the approved budget and control expenses of the centre.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge and understanding of livelihood promotion projects and experience in working with community institutions, their federations, and producers’ group on livelihood issues.
Knowledge of Photoshop, Corel Draw is desirable.
