The Analyst role, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, is a pivotal part of the Centre for Sustainable Finance (CSF) team within CPI. This position is responsible for providing essential support in the planning and execution of research initiatives, capacity building activities, collaborative forums, and engagement with stakeholders. Additionally, the incumbent will be an active contributor to various ongoing projects and programs undertaken by CPI in India.

CPI is a dynamic environment that thrives on self-directed thinking, cross-functional cooperation, and practical resolution of challenges. Operating under the guidance and mentorship of the Project Manager, CPI Analysts engage in comprehensive and meticulous analysis. This involves harnessing methodologies from diverse disciplines such as micro- and macroeconomics, public policy, regulatory economics, finance, behavioral science, risk management, statistics, law, engineering, and other academic and commercial realms.

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience related to climate policy, finance, or regulation. Furthermore, a demonstrated focus on specific sectors such as agriculture/land use, cities, and/or gender equity will be hugely valuable in this role.
