An Accountant helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances.

They are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Primary Responsibilities include

• Day to day accounting.
• Documentation of incoming invoices related to Project activities.
• Maintain the project wise voucher entry in Tally ERP9.
• Making of cash reconciliation on daily basis.
• Making of Bank Reconciliation Statement on weekly basis.
• Maintain the staff personal files.
• Monitoring & Settlement of advances of Staff consultants / suppliers
• Maintenance of various registers such as Salary, Fixed Assets Register etc.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Finance Officer

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Command on MS word, MS excel and internet operations also.
Sound Knowledge of Tally ERP9 accounting software.

Samvad Samajik Sansthan is a Non-Political, Secular and Non-Profit Social Organization works for marginalized sections of the community; especially women and children. This has been registered under Society’s Registration Act (1860) in the year 1998.

Samvad is currently working in three districts of U.P, Pratapgarh, Barabanki and Lucknow on issues of child rights and waste management. One of our major objectives is to promote the rights of the socially excluded children of the remote villages by constantly emphasizing to adopt such excluded children for sponsorship, so that these children can also get an access to education and health.
