This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on communities by addressing critical needs in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector. Fellows will gain valuable experience in strategic planning, program implementation, and research while collaborating with government leaders and partner organizations.


Award

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

- Lead program study assessments and support ongoing improvements.
- Provide technical expertise for quantitative assessments at project and district levels.
- Develop reports and protocols to assess long-term change processes in the WASH sector.
- Ensure transdisciplinary research quality in project design and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with ASCI program staff, partner organizations, and government leaders.

- Stipend of INR 45,000.

WASH Innovation Hub (WIH)

WASH Innovation Hub (WIH), at ASCI, aims to promote innovations in the WASH and climate sector in India. WIH envisages facilitating the creation of a nurturing ecosystem that supports, trains, mentors, and facilitates partnerships and funding for MSMEs, start-ups and innovators.

WIH provides a collaborative, multi-disciplinary platform that promotes research, assists in capacity building, fosters new ideas, and helps them reach fruition by providing incubation, prototyping and up-scaling avenues. The WIH has to date, identified over 800 MSMEs/startups and innovations, supported 148+ pilots and engaged with over 55 cities in India.
