Noida, February 29, 2024: IDEMIA India Foundation has transformed an industrial dumping ground into a flourishing Biodiversity Park in Noida’s Phase 2. The 3.8 acres of once-neglected land, is now breathing a new life, signaling a triumph in revitalizing the ecological landscape of the region.
IDEMIA, in partnership with the Noida Authority and the Give Me Trees Foundation, has planted 15,000 trees encompassing over 70 diverse species as part of the transformation exercise.
The journey to transform the former industrial dumping grounds into a thriving sanctuary of biodiversity was not without its challenges. The site's tainted history necessitated meticulous cleaning and extensive soil rejuvenation efforts, which spanned six months. IDEMIA's committed team, alongside local authorities and the Give Me Trees Foundation, tackled the daunting task with fervour, clearing debris, removing industrial chemicals, and replenishing the soil to create a conducive environment for diverse flora and fauna to flourish.
The success of this endeavour stands as a testament to the collective dedication and collaborative spirit of all involved. IDEMIA employees poured their time and energy into the project, demonstrating a deep-seated commitment to environmental sustainability.
