PHD Rural Development Foundation

PHD Rural Development Foundation (PHDRDF) was formed under the aegis of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. For over three decades, PHDRDF has been proactively involved in the development of the less privileged and rural communities by implementing projects that contribute to their economic and social upliftment. The Foundation strives towards transforming the lives of people by creating opportunities and enhancing potential resources among the community members, enabling them to become self-reliant and aspire for a better tomorrow. , PHDRDF works in priority areas through various projects and programs like health care initiatives (organize 100+ health camps per month), water harvesting (constructed 190+ water reservoir/ check dams), Training & Skill Development (conducted 20+ centers), Sanitation (constructed 100+ toilets), Education (Worked in around 25 government schools) and other need based community welfare activities. , PHDRDF with its expertise has impacted lives of over 20 Lac people across 9 States with support of different Corporates , Government organizations, PSU s and International organisations. , PHDRDF also does research and consultation for various corporations in both the private and public sector by undertaking research services through development of CSR policy framework, baseline surveys, social impact assessment, CSR & sustainability reporting. , PHDRDF has been awarded the Best NGO for Revival of Rural Water Resources by Water Digest Awards 2013-2014. , , Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, recognised work done by PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (construction of toilets) by inviting us to include our work in the Swachh Bharat Coffee Table Book , recently launched by them. This book was released by the honourable President Shri. Pranab Mukherjee
