Special features of the organization
SANKALP SAMAJIK SANSTHA Registered at Uniyal Gaon Tehri Garhwal and Head office at Genwala Barsali- Uttarkashi (U.A.) India Pin- 249193 is registered under Society Registration Act, 1860 .The organization is an Indian, Secular, Not for Profit, and Non- Governmental Voluntary Organization working for all-round development at remote hills of Uttrakhand people since 2002 without discrimination of race, caste, creed, sex, community and religion. , Honorable Sir/Madam, SANKALP SAMAJIK SANSTHA formed 180 SHGs, 30 Joint Livelihood Groups(JLGs), 15 farmer clubs and two farmer federations . These all the groups has been formed from the financial assistance of NABARD) Dehradun and World Food Programme (WFP), Department of Science and Technology (DST) between 2008-2011. The objective of the organization is livelihood promotion, health, education, environment and empowerment . Such a social order, based on human dignity, should emerge from among the people themselves. Concretely this means a just distribution of resources, their regeneration and growth in which opportunities are created for all to enjoy the fruit of their work and according to their need. Such a social order would require, therefore, the elimination of exploitative factors from society through programs that create social awareness and organization of people for their rights through peaceful means and advocacy and working for good participatory governance practices. , The basic thrust of the Institution is to serve the under privileged, sub served, illiterate and marginalized people of the Himalayan State and in the region where we work on the call of duty and service to humanity through various income and employment generation activities and human resource development programs for the betterment of their living, devising appropriate strategies and delivery systems.
