Global Knowledge Network Society (GKNS), believes in promoting quality education, is both a social imperative and a strategic one. The social imperative is that education leads to greater equality, better health outcomes, higher incomes, more active engagement in democracy, and more awareness of human rights. , , We have conducted workshops in rural areas and interiors of the country to promote education for Tribals, the Girl Child and encourage parents to enroll their students so that the Gross Enrollment Ratios (GER) of the rural areas can improve. , , Along with the workshops, programs on use of sustainable energy in daily lives i.e. use of Solar Lamps and renewable sources of energy has also be done. Skilled Children around the use of the sustainable forms of energy. , , GKNS is also assisting FICCI in formation of Education Sector Skill Council under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) which has been set up with the express mandate to catalyze (advocate, create, fund, facilitate and incentivize) skill development in India.
