Project Management/Coordination

The Program Officer is responsible for leadership and management of assigned projects related to research activities, partner coordination, work planning, reporting, communications, budget and contracts/administration.The Program Officer-I is responsible for leadership and management of assigned projects related to research activities, partner coordination, work planning, reporting, communications, budget and contracts/administration.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Plan and implement our interventions end-to-end in an integrated manner Independently plan activities, trouble-shoot issues and conduct extensive field visits on daily basis to different areas of the block; Monitor the program routinely.
  • Continuously ideate and analyse data to improve program delivery and introduce new initiatives Maintain strong relationships and work closely with village/block/district government officials to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of the program.
  • Develop trust and bonds with frontline workers and community to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of the program
  • Contribute to overall organizational needs and vision outside the field and collaborate with team members from different locations/de.partments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Will be responsible for running our program end-to-end in 1 block (covering 150-200 villages, pop: >1.5 lakhs). S/he will be the leader of their area and expected to work under the principle of ‘freedom with responsibility’.
