In addition, you will be working closely with the business units in  enabling sales and delivery of engagements focused on Agriculture.

While everyday will be of immense learning and trying something new, you shall be expected to work in close  coordination within the team in order to undertake the following responsibilities effectively:

Create Research and Public goods

• Leading research and the development of knowledge products (research reports, policy analysis  and Op-Eds) to guide thinking around the big ideas in Agriculture.
• Steering activities related to identifying, managing, packaging, and disseminating key insights as  public goods to provide donors and practitioners with tools they need to conduct for better social  impact work.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing events like Community of Practice, Roundtables, podcasts,  seminar/webinar, workshop as well as internal L&D sessions in collaboration with the Business units  and marketing team.

Supporting Business

• Providing thematic level advisory support to the on-going client projects to manage profitability and  quality of execution in close coordination with the business units.
• Help in business develop efforts on clients-from opportunity identification to commercial  discussions and help in developing opportunity pipeline.
• Supporting the business team in identifying and contracting right partner organizations for effective  delivery.

People Management

• Foster the growth of team members by creating an environment that supports growth,  development and success by integrating mentoring, coaching and nurturing approaches.
• Spearheading initiatives aimed at optimizing employee satisfaction, productivity, and wellbeing. 

Ecosystem Engagement

• Building effective partnerships to co-create and co-disseminate knowledge.
• Playing a pivotal role in building Agriculture Practice area’s thought leadership by speaking in public  forums ensuring we are shaping discussions and initiatives at the forefront of discussions  

Institution Building

• Leading internal strategic initiatives at the practice area or organizational level that help contribute  towards Sattva’s continued development 
• Participate in building and strengthening internal systems and processes which contribute towards  effective and efficient functioning of the practice area and organization 

• Prior experience of working in the areas of climate smart agriculture, sustainable water  management in agriculture will have added advantage.
• Exceptional problem-solving and advisory skills, strong presentation, and data analytical abilities
• Strong articulation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Prior experience in leading diverse teams and people management
• Demonstrated commitment to social impact/prior experience working in the social sector
• Self-driven, high-energy, curious, and adaptable personality with the ability to produce high quality  (entrepreneurial mindset)
