About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The Hans Foundation Support to the project staff in tasks related to advocacy, planning and programming, resource mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, and representation at the block level.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Field visits for the proper execution of different plans and schemes at the field level as instructed by the project manager of subject matter specialist
  • Field visits for the inspection of field staff activities.
  • Assist the participation in any local program such as Kisan Mela and exhibition
  • Assist all the activities of plant and input distribution at the block level
  • Resource and community mobilization for the various activities to be conducted at the field level.
  • To overview the plantation program of the horticulture crops at the respective blocks.
  • Well, acquainted with the local dialect, area, and resources available at the block level.
  • Maintenance of all the documents, assets, and records at the block offices. 
  • To liaison with the resource person for the field visit and training programs in the project.
  • Conflict management at the local block level (if any arise during project implementation)
  • To liaise with the local line department for The Hans Foundation including government counterparts, donor community, financial institutions, and any other institutions.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Experience in coordinating field activities and working with local communities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of local dialects and cultures.
  • Experience in document management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues diplomatically.
  • Familiarity with government systems and procedures related to community development is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of The Hans Foundation.
